Project Engineer - Pump Division


This role will ensure effective project delivery from concept of an opportunity to delivery and close out with the customer. Focusing on efficient delivery of work scope, to meet budgets and deliverables and ensure first class customer service.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

Your main areas of responsibility will require: -

  • Produce quotations and estimates by assessing work scope, identifying risks and advising on estimated timescales to deliver said work scope
  • Take ownership of projects deliverables from initial work scope timings and costs to final delivery at site
  • Produce work instructions, risk assessment and method statements to align with project work scope
  • Work with team to improve quality of information sent to site
  • Organise tooling and test equipment to be used on site and work with the team to ensure information, tooling, equipment etc is available on site at required time
  • Liaise with the customer from concept to delivery, including attendance at project kick off meetings, maintain customer communications while project scope is delivered and final close out meetings and lessons learnt process
  • Ensure adherence to work scope and notify Operations Manager of any changes/variations
  • Be aware of project costs and notify Operations Manager of any possible risks to project budget & timescales
  • Ensure project reports are delivered on time and are accurate
    Ensuring excellent quality and safety standards are maintained at all times

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

The successful applicant will:-

  • Customer focused
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ideally Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel training can be given
  • Able to work flexibly on own initiative and part of a team
  • Show drive, enthusiasm and be motivated to succeed
  • Shows desire to promote culture of Continuous Improvement
  • Ideally have experience working with and supervising a site team
