Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of projects and ensure the successful delivery of parts to internal and external customers.
• Develop new and existing business opportunities, generate quotations, and follow up with customers.
• Set up and maintain contract files in accordance with TS Metals procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings and produce laser cutting programmes.
• Create and issue work instructions to production teams.
• Ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Manage project changes and variation procedures.
• Enter and monitor time bookings on company systems.
• Attend and manage contract reviews and cost-to-complete forecasts where required.
• Oversee project close-out activities, including analysis, verification, and archiving of documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure effective project delivery.
• Ensure all product documentation is completed accurately prior to shipment.
• Prepare and issue final quality packs to customers when required.
• Deputise for the Laser Operations Manager as needed.
• Drive high standards of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the business.
  
  

Your skills and experiences:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong technical capability and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

You will ideally have:

• Experience programming lasers within a laser cutting environment
• A proven track record in project management
• Experience reading, interpreting, and issuing engineering drawings and work instructions
• Strong measurement and dimensional inspection skillsGCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong reporting and organisational skills
• The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive, proactive approach with the drive and motivation to succeed.

  Desirable

• Willingness to travel within the UK when required
• Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes
